| For Peter, we’ll leave out the more sordid affairs of his past. Ok, there aren’t really any, but it sounds intriguing to say there were. He never had a “normal” childhood. After all, how many people can say they spent half their lives in foreign countries? He was born in Germany. No, father was not in the military. He worked as a doctor there. During his high schools years he lived in Israel. It was after his stint there that he moved back to Ohio and finished his last two years that he met Matt. For some reason, no matter where his family moved to, it was inevitable that Ohio would suck them back like some kind of black hole. Indeed, that comparison often felt aptly put in his mind. Unlike his cohort’s poor memory, he remembers when they met. It was senior year honors English. Was only about a month into the school year. Matt was walking out of class with another friend, we’ll call him Ian. Peter happened to be following since he had a class the same direction. Over hearing their conversation he chimed in. This caught their attention and they both turned and asked his interest in the matter. Things took off running from there. Since then, Matt has had an uncanny ability of tracking Peter down wherever he moved. (edit by Matt: Don't tell him of the homing chip I implanted.) After High School, Peter spent a year at the University of Cincinnati studying – sort of. Took off and spent two years on a religious excursion in South Florida. (Insert jokes now.) After which he moved west. He is now married to a super model with three equally beautiful children. Oh, and a dog named Flash. No llamas or hamsters. Cher is nowhere in the picture (edit by Matt: oh ya?). Peter finished his Bachelors in Business out west and went on to gain an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. He has been working as a financial consultant with banks and brokerage companies for nine years now. Currently is back in Ohio (see Black Hole comment) working for a regional bank. Looks forward to moving on. It was during High School that Peter realized he loved writing. Even though his poetry style is a bit untraditional, it works for him. One even nearly got him a free trip to the shrink. Long story. Sometime during college he stopped writing anything but school papers. Business topics just don’t drive the creativity like other things. He has been tossing around various book ideas for a long time now. Even has gone so far as mapping out a personal finance book. However, does not want to work on that until he is in another field. A novel idea for a fantasy book has been floating in his mind for about six years now. Finally, decided to put it down on paper. That brings us up to the present. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Disclosure: before any silly questions of this nature are posted, yes Peter wrote this. So why put it in the third person and not the first? Ummm….there’s no “I” in team? Ok, sounds more interesting this way and someone didn’t like me using the royal “we”. |
