| Meshrak, God of Protection |
||||
| Seeming the odd man out under the dominion of Goern, Meshrak was a powerful warrior in his own right. When his city was beset by a foul army of perverted magic, he stood the wall and rallied his troops to keep them out. In the end, he dove into a vortex that had been summoned to allow nightmares into the realm, and forced it shut. Battling for a great time in the fires there, he eventually found his way back to the realms of man. He returned to his city, only to find it run by corrupt merchants. With power unlike any he had known before, he cast them out and returned the city to the path of righteousness. The city became the seat of the Nation of Asa. He ruled there for a long time before establishing a new line to follow the precepts of honor. He exemplifies what is good and noble of battle, and Goern values him greatly. His Servants are Honor, Protection, and Strength. His followers tend towards heavier armor, shields, and swords. Holy symbols of Meshrak usually depict a flaming shield. |
